Summer Camp Swag for 2025!

It may be hard to believe, but it’s a great time to start thinking about cool summer camp swag for next summer! (Yes, I know, it’s only October—but brainstorming now is a game-changer!) Designing swag takes more time than expected— from creating the design, finding vendors with the best prices, getting it printed and shipped, to having it arrive at camp on time. Plus, you don’t want to rush the creative process—that’s the fun part! Picking out the perfect swag for your campers is like choosing your camp’s personality for the summer.

As a former camp communications director and all-around swag enthusiast, this was always one of my favorite things to do on staff. As a staff member, we always looked for trendy and quirky items to help us decide what would be a hit for the next summer. While classics like T-shirts, hoodies, and water bottles were always staples, we loved changing things with fresh designs.

To kickstart your swag brainstorming session, here are some fun ideas to inspire you. My favorite swag suggestion is missing from this list, and I will share it shortly, so stay tuned!!

• Shoelaces with the logo and/or tagline and in bright colors.

• Friendship and cord bracelets

• Retro camp patches

• Vinyl stickers for water bottles and notebooks

• Postcards with an iconic camp image for campers to send home to their friends and families. 

• Sturdy and cool tote bags with a great design or catchy slogan

• Cool socks

• Backpack animal clips

• Refrigerator camp word magnets
